 01.                      Presented for consideration is Ordinance No. 437 of Babatngon, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) UNIT GARBAGE TRUCK IN THE AMOUNT OF THREE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (Php 3,500,000.00) FOR OFFICIAL USE OF THE BABATNGON LGU.” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated June 9, 2023.

 

02.                       Presented for consideration is   Municipal Ordinance No. 010 series of 2023 of Pastrana, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING TRUCK BAN HOUR FROM 6:00 P.M. TO 6:00 A.M. IN THE HAULING AND TRANSPORTING OF SAND AND GRAVEL WITHIN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PASTRANA, PROVINCE OF LEYTE AND PROVIDING PENALTIES THEREOF.” With comments/opinion from the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated June 9, 2023 relative to its exercise of the power to regulate by the LGU and also the subject of FINE under the said ordinance.

 

03.                       Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 158 series of 2023 of Carigara, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION PROGRAM IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CARIGARA, LEYTE CREATING MUNICIPAL AND BARANGAY BLOOD COORDINATING COUNCIL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREOF” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated June 9, 2023.

 

04.                       Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 08 series of 2023 of MacArthur, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE INSTITUTIONALIZING THE MACARTHUR PEOPLE’S COUNCIL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MACARTHUR AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREOF.” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated June 5, 2023.

 

05.                       Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 30 S. 2023-2025 of Villaba, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE INSTITUTING THE GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT CODE OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF VILLABA, LEYTE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated June 6, 2023.

 

 06.                      Presented for consideration is Ordinance No. 2023-03 of Albuera, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE ABOLISHING THE POSITION OF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER II (ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST I), WITH SALARY GRADE 11, UNDER THE MUNICIPAL ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES OFFICE, PLANTILLA ITEM NO. MENRO-01” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated June 13, 2023.

 

07.                       Presented for consideration is Ordinance No. 2023-04 of Albuera, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT SERVICE OFFICE (PESO) OF ALBUERA, LEYTE, APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR AND CREATING FOR THIS PURPOSE THE INITIAL POSITION OF SENIOR LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT OFFICER, WITH SALARY GRADE 19, WHICH IS ESSENTIAL TO THE OPERATION OF THE SAME.” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated June 9, 2023.

 

08.                       Presented for consideration is Ordinance No. 2023-06 of Albuera, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7 OF MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 2018-03, ENTITLED “AN ORDINANCE IMPLEMENTING THE MATERNAL CARE INCENTIVE PROGRAM (MCIP) OF ALBUERA, LEYTE.” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated June 9, 2023.

 

09.                       Presented for consideration is City Ordinance No. 06, S. 2023 of Baybay City, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE CHARGES/FEES ON THE USE OF THE CT SCAN AND MRI MACHINES AT THE BAYBAY CITY IMMACULATE CONCEPTION HOSPITAL (BCICH), AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated June 5, 2023.

 

10.                       Presented for consideration is City Ordinance No. 07, S. 2023 of Baybay City, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE PERSONS WITH DISABILITY AFFAIRS OFFICE (PDAO) IN THE CITY OF BAYBAY, APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREOF AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated June 5, 2023.

 

11.                       Presented for consideration is City Ordinance No. 08, S. 2023 of Baybay City, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ESTABLISHING A BLOOD SERVICE FACILITY (BSF) IN THE CITY OF BAYBAY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated June 5, 2023.

 

12.                       Presented for consideration are Court Records of the case between the Municipality of Isabel, Leyte versus Municipality of Merida under Case No. R-ORM-08-00123-CV remanded from the Regional Trial Court, 8th Judicial Region Branch 12, Ormoc City,  to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan-Leyte pursuant to the Order dated 2 March 2023 , with the information that the Sangguniang Panlalawigan being the “Court of Origin” who rendered the Decision thru SP Resolution No. 08-327 dated July 8, 2008 is the proper Office to issue the appropriate “ Writ of Execution” to carry out the final decision.

 

13.                       Presented for consideration is Resolution No. 18-23-006 of the Sangguniang Bayan of Merida entitled  “A RESOLUTION RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING THE SANGGUNIANG PANLALAWIGAN NG LEYTE, FOR THE ISSUANCE OF A WRIT OF EXECUTION TO IMPLEMENT THE JUDGEMENT OF THE SUPREME COURT DATED DECEMBER 09, 2020 G. R. NO. 216092 (MUNICIPALITY OF ISABEL, LEYTE VS. MUNICIPALITY OF MERIDA, LEYTE).”

 

14.                       Presented for consideration is a Memorandum dated June 9, 2023 from the Asst. Provincial Legal Officer Jose Raymund A. Acol forwarding the request of LEYECO III for SP Resolution of Support for the Renewal of Franchise.

 

15.                       Presented for consideration is a letter dated May 18, 2023 from Atty. Mark Anthony S. Actub, Deputy General Counsel, National Grid Corp. of the Phils. (NGCP), in connection to NGCP’s application for approval of Ancillary Services Procurement Agreement with the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) with a request for issuance of certificate of receipt stamped with the office dry seal.

 

16.                       Presented for consideration is a letter dated June 2, 2023 from Atty. Mark Anthony S. Actub, Deputy General Counsel, National Grid Corp. of the Phils. (NGCP), relative to the Request for Posting of the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) Order and notice of Virtual Hearing  dated May 18, 2023 in connection to NGCP’s application for approval of Ancillary Services Procurement Agreement between NGCP and Isabel Ancillary Services Co. LTD with  a request for issuance of certificate of receipt stamped with the office dry seal .

 

17.                       Presented for consideration is a letter dated June 1, 2023 from Atty. Jannie Ann J. Dayandayan, General Manager, LEYECO V, furnishing copies of ERC Order dated May 16, 2023 and ERC Notice of Virtual Hearing dated May 16, 2023 in compliance to ERC directives relative to the application of LEYECO V for approval of Adjustment in Rates.

 

18.                       Presented for consideration is General Fund Supplemental Budget No. 1 FY 2023 of Palo, Leyte amounting to Php26,049,650.07 under Appropriation Ordinance No. 2023-01. Recommended for APPROVAL with CONDITIONS by the Local Finance Committee per review letter dated June 14, 2023.
