AGENDA OF THE 137th REGULAR SESSION SANGGUNIANG PANLALAWIGAN Province of Leyte June 25, 2025

01.               Presented for consideration is  Municipal Ordinance No. 08, S. 2025 of Tolosa, Leyte entitled: “AN ORDINANCE PROMOTING THE USE AND DEVELOPMENT OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TOLOSA, LEYTE, TO ENCOURAGE SUSTAINABLE ENERGYPRACTICES AND REDUCE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT” Same is recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2^nd indorsement dated March 13, 2025.

02.               Presented for consideration is  aletter dated June 18, 2025 from Kenneth Maraya, Head Coach, Dayon-Dance Team, requesting for the passage of a Resolution of Undertaking from the August body, formally recognizing and supporting the Dayon Junior Team as official representatives of the Philippines to the World Supremacy Battlegrounds (WHB) World Finals to be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on July 10-13, 2025.

03.               Presented for consideration is  a letter dated June 19, 2025 from Agnes C. Rafon, Chairperson, PLUC and OIC-PPDC  furnishing the August body a copy of the Certificate of Compliance to all comments and recommendations issued by the Chairperson of the Provincial Land Use Committee (PLUC). Said certification carries the PLUC’S endorsement of the 2023-2032 Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Zoning Ordinance of Pastrana, Leyte for appropriate action.

04.               Presented for consideration is  a letter dated June 10, 2025 from Atty. Jannie Ann J. Dayandayan, General Manager, LEYECO V, furnishing copy of Joint Application for the Approval of the Emergency Power Supply Agreement (“EPSA”) between Southwest Luzon Power Generation Corp. (SPLGC) and LEYECO V with a request for a Certification attesting the August body was duly served  a copy of the Joint application.

05.               Presented for consideration is a National Water Resources Board Water Permit Application  NO. VIII-LEY-2025-05-047  filed by ENERGY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION located at Brgy. Limao,  Kananga, Leyte, with a request that said application be posted on the Bulletin board of the office.

06.               Presented for consideration is a letter dated May 6, 2025 from Corazon M. Alvero, Provincial Administrator, requesting for approval through a resolution for the disposal of unserviceable properties and equipment in various offices and facilities of the Provincial Government of Leyte as of December 31, 2024.

07.               Presented for consideration is General Fund Supplemental Budget No. 1 CY 2025 of Tanauan, Leyte amounting to Php33,175,645.48 under Ordinance No. 2025-13, same is recommended for APPROVAL with conditions by the Local Finance Committee per review letter dated June 19, 2025, together with Supplemental Investment Program (SIP) No. 01 CY 2025 of the same amount.
