02.          Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 2023-03 of Palo, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6 OF MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 2022-08 ENTITLED “AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING GUIDELINES FOR THE DIFFERENT PROGRAMS AND SERVICES UNDER THE ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS IN CRISIS SITUATION (AICS) IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PALO, LEYTE”. Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated July 10, 2023.

04           Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 2023-03 of Santa Fe, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE ENACTING THE MARKET AND SLAUGHTERHOUSE CODE OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SANTA FE, LEYTE” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY with CONDITION by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated July 7, 2023.

05.          Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 12 series of 2023 of MacArthur, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MACARTHUR, LEYTE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THERETO.” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated July 3, 2023.

06.          Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 33, S-2023-2025 of Villaba, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING MARRIAGE APPLICANT TO PLANT AT LEAST FIVE (5) TREES SEEDLINGS BEFORE MARRIAGE LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE SHALL BE ISSUED.” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated July 7, 2023.

07.          Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 34, S-2023-2025 of Villaba, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE CRAFTED TO ELIMINATE GENDER-BASED SEXUAL HARASSMENT IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF VILLABA, LEYTE AND IMPOSE PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF.” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated July 7, 2023.

08.          Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 35, S-2023-2025 of Villaba, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE ENACTING THE VILLABA YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CODE.” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated July 7, 2023.

09.          Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 06- Series of 2023 of Merida, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE MAGSANGA FESTIVAL TO BE THE OFFICIAL FESTIVITY TITLE FOR THE CELEBRATION OF THE FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MERIDA, LEYTE EVERY 2ND DAY OF MARCH OF EVERY YEAR AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREOF.” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated July 10, 2023.

10.          Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 07- Series of 2023 of Merida, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE INTERNAL AUDIT SERVICE OFFICE OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF MERIDA, PROVINCE OF LEYTE.” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY  by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated July 10, 2023.

11.          Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 09- Series of 2023 of Merida, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE RENAMING THE EXISTING BAGSAKAN CENTER INTO A COMMERCIAL BUILDING AND ESTABLISHING A NEW BAGSAKAN CENTER BESIDE THE FISH MARKET BUILDING AT MERIDA PUBLIC MARKET IN BARANGAY POBLACION OF THIS MUNICIPALITY AND IMPOSING FEES AND OTHER CHARGES ON THE USE OF ITS FACILITIES.” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY with CONDITION by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated July 10, 2023.

12.          Presented for consideration is General Fund Supplemental Budget No. 2 FY 2023 of Tanauan, Leyte amounting to Php1,375,000.00 under Appropriation Ordinance No. 2023-06. Recommended for APPROVAL with CONDITIONS by the Local Finance Committee per review letter dated July 7, 2023, together with Supplemental Annual Investment Program (AIP) No. 2 CY 2023 of the same amount.

13           Presented for consideration is General Fund Supplemental Budget No. 01 FY 2023 of Inopacan, Leyte amounting to Php17,405,632.49 under Appropriation Ordinance No. 23-01. Recommended for APPROVAL with CONDITIONS by the Local Finance Committee per review letter dated July 7, 2023, together with Supplemental Annual Investment Plan (AIP) No. 01 for CY 2023 in the amount of Php22,389,732.49.

14.          Presented for consideration is a copy furnished letter dated May 5, 2023 from the National Water Resources Board, DENR, requesting for the posting of Water Permit Application of Joselito V. Babiano located at Romualdez, Libtong, San Miguel, Leyte. A certification for said posting is also requested.

21.          Presented for consideration is a Notice of Hearing from the National Telecommunications Commission relative to BMC CASE NO. 2023-066, Applicant St. Jude Thaddeus Institute of Technology, Inc. requesting the NTC for the issuance of a Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC)to install, operate and maintain an FM Radio Broadcast Station in Villaba, Leyte. Applicant also requests for issuance of a Provisional Authority (PA) from NTC pending final determination of application.

22.          Presented for consideration is a Notice of Hearing from the National Telecommunications Commission relative to BMC CASE NO. 2023-090, Applicant Anthony de Rosas King (Quadrillion Cable Net. Inc.) requesting the NTC for the issuance of a Certificate of Authority (CA) to install, operate and maintain a Cable Television (CATV) System in Ormoc City, Leyte. Applicant also requests for issuance of a Provisional Authority (PA) from NTC pending final determination of application.
