Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 2024-03 of Alangalang, Leyte entitled: “AN ORDINANCE ABOLISHING THE LIBRARIAN 1 POSITION TITLE WITH SALARY GRADE 10 IN THE PLANTILLA OF POSITION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALANGALANG, LEYTE.” Same is recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated May 20, 2024.
02. Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 23 series of 2023 of MacArthur, Leyte entitled: “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING BY INCLUSION THE COMPOSITION AND LYRICS OF THE MACARTHUR MUNICIPAL HYMN AS THE OFFICIAL MACARTHUR HYMN OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MACARTHUR TO THE MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 03 SERIES OF 2019 REQUIRING ALL BARANGAYS, GOVERNMENT OFFICES, AND ALL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS SITUATED WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL AND POLITICAL JURISDICTION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MACARTHUR, LEYTE TO SING THE MACARTHUR HYMN AS PART OF THE FLAGRAISING CEREMONY AND OTHER ACTIVITIES.” Same is recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated May 20, 2024.
03. Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 2024-03 series of 2024 of Tabango, Leyte entitled: “AN ORDINANCE CREATING PLANTILLA POSITIONS UNDER THE MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE, MUNICIPAL AGRICULTURIST OFFICE, MUNICIPAL TREASURER OFFICE AND MUNICIPAL ACCOUNTANT OFFICE IN THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TABANGO, LEYTE, PROVIDING FOR ITS QUALIFICATIONS, DUTIES, AND FUNCTIONS AND APPROPRIATING THE NECESSARY FUNDS THEREOF.” Same is recommended for declaration of its VALIDITY with CONDITION by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated May 20, 2024.

Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 2024-04 of Tabango, Leyte entitled: “AN ORDINANCE CREATING NEW PLANTILLA POSITION UNDER THE OFFICE OF THE MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICER IN THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TABANGO, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, PROVIDING FOR ITS QUALIFICATIONS, DUTIES, AND FUNCTIONS AND APPROPRIATING THE NECESSARY FUNDS THEREOF.” Same is recommended for declaration of its VALIDITY with CONDITION by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated May 20, 2024.
05. Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 2024-06 of Hilongos, Leyte entitled: “AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A REPOSITORY OF FRESH FOODS, INTEGRATED AND GRACELY RAISED, RESERVED TO RESPOND-FOOD SECURITY AND NUTRITION OTHERWISE KNOWN AS “REFRIGERATOR GARDEN PROGRAM ORDINANCE” IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF HILONGOS, LEYTE.” Same is recommended for declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated May 20, 2024.
06. Presented for consideration is General Fund Supplemental Budget No. 01 FY 2024 of Tunga, Leyte amounting to Php8,220,030.52 through Appropriation Ordinance No. 01 series of 2024. Same is recommended for APPROVAL with CONDITIONS by the Local Finance Committee per review letter dated May 20, 2024 together with the CY 2024 Supplemental Investment Program (SIP) No. 01 amounting to Php 26,080,000.00.
07. Presented for consideration is General Fund Annual Budget FY 2024 of Calubian, Leyte amounting to Php153,811,416.97 through Appropriation Ordinance No. 10 C.S. 2023. Same is recommended for APPROVAL with CONDITIONS by the Local Finance Committee per review letter dated May 17, 2024 together with the Annual Investment Program (AIP) for CY 2024 amounting to Php 1,257,330,688.05.
08. Presented for consideration is General Fund Annual Budget FY 2024 of La Paz, Leyte amounting to Php122,820,768.00 through Appropriation Ordinance No. 03 Series of 2023. Same is recommended for APPROVAL with CONDITIONS by the Local Finance Committee per review letter dated May 24, 2024 together with the Annual Investment Program (AIP) under MDC Res. No. 2023-08 series of 2023 amounting to Php 1,342,857,437.07.
09. Presented for consideration is a request for ACCREDITATION of Leyte-Samar Heritage Society, Inc. of Tacloban City with the Provincial Government of Leyte as a non government organization.
10. Presented for consideration is a letter dated March 27, 2024 from the National Water Resources Board, DENR, requesting for the posting of Water Permit Application of DREAM DROPS WATER REFILLING STATION-Ma. Jesusa T. Cañeda MUNICIPALITY OF PALOMPON located at Santiago, Palompon, Leyte. A certification for said posting is also requested.
11. Presented for consideration is a letter dated March 26, 2024 from the National Water Resources Board, DENR, requesting for the posting of Water Permit Application of DBSN FARMS AGRIVENTURES CORPORATION located at San Joaquin Palompon, Leyte. A certification for said posting is also requested.
12. Presented for consideration is a letter dated March 19, 2024 from the National Water Resources Board, DENR, requesting for the posting of Two Water Permit Applications of RENZO SEF FARM/LORENZO M. BALTONADO, Jr. both located at Sitio Tinago, Benolho, Albuera, Leyte.. A certification for said posting is also requested.
13. Presented for consideration is a copy of a Joint Pre-Trial Brief from the Energy Regulatory Commission relative to the Application for Approval of the Emergency Power Supply Agreement between Energy Development Corporation (EDC) and Don Orestes Romualdez Electric Cooperative, Inc., with Motion for Confidential Treatment of Information. (ERC CASE NO. 2024-008 RC)
15. Presented for consideration is General Fund Supplemental No. 2 CY 2024 of the Provincial Government of Leyte in the amount of ₱239,926,950.00 sourced from Hospital Receipts for the 1st Quarter of the year and from the Unappropriated Balance December 31, 2023. Said supplemental budget is to provide funds for operations of the district hospitals of the province, provision of additional funds for MOOE and various expenditures for the continuous delivery of basic services.
