01.            Presented for consideration is General Fund Annual Budget FY 2024 of Jaro, Leyte amounting to Php 278,562,192.15 through Appropriation Ordinance No. 01 Series of 2024. Same is recommended for APPROVAL with CONDITIONS by the Local Finance Committee per review letter dated April 23, 2024, together with its Annual Investment Plan (AIP) CY 2024 in the amount of Php272,562,192.15.

02.            Presented for consideration is General Fund Annual Budget FY 2024 of Abuyog, Leyte amounting to Php 402,774,149.00 through Appropriation Ordinance No. 03, Series of 2023. Same is recommended for APPROVAL with CONDITIONS by the Local Finance Committee per review letter dated April 22, 2024, together with its Annual Investment Plan (AIP) CY 2024 of the same amount.

03.            Presented for consideration is General Fund Annual Budget FY 2024 of Bato, Leyte amounting to Php 187,742,178.00 through Appropriation Ordinance No. 2023-05. Same is recommended for APPROVAL with CONDITIONS by the Local Finance Committee per review letter dated April 23, 2024, together with its Annual Investment Plan (AIP) CY 2024 in the amount of Php448,984,435.00.

04.            Presented for consideration is a letter dated March 12, 2024 from the National Water Resources Board, DENR, requesting for the posting of Water Permit Application of LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF ORMOC located at three places: 1. Margen, Ormoc City, Leyte 2. Can-Untog, Ormoc City, Leyte and 3. Dayhagan, Ormoc City, Leyte. A certification for said posting is also requested.

05.            Presented for consideration is a letter dated March 13, 2024 from the National Water Resources Board, DENR, requesting for the posting of Water Permit Application of LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF ORMOC located at two places 1. Cagbuhangin, Ormoc City, Leyte and 2. Juaton, Ormoc City, Leyte. A certification for said posting is also requested.

06.            Presented for consideration is a letter to the Honorable Vice Governor Leonardo M. Javier, Jr. from Andy T. Durog, Energy Development Corp. (EDC), Head, Unified Leyte Geothermal Power Plant furnishing copy of the ORDER and NOTICE OF VIRTUAL HEARING relative to the Application for Approval of the Emergency Power Supply Agreement between Energy Development Corp. (EDC) and Eastern Samar Electric Cooperative Inc. (ESAMELCO), with Motion for Confidential Treatment of Information- EDC and ESAMELCO, with a request for posting on the SP bulletin board and issuance of certification of posting stating that a copy of the Order and Notice of Virtual Hearing was duly received and posted by the SP Office. (ERC CASE NO. 2024-035 RC).

07.            Presented for consideration is a letter to the Honorable Vice Governor Leonardo M. Javier, Jr. from Brenda Flores-Ampolitod, General Manager, Leyte IV Electric Cooperative, Inc.(LEYECO IV), furnishing copy of the ORDER and NOTICE OF VIRTUAL HEARING relative to the Application for Approval of the Emergency Power Supply Agreement between LEYECO IV and GNPower Dinginin Ltd. Co. (GNPD), with Prayer for Confidential Treatment of Information under ERC Case No. 2024-046 RC. wiith a request for posting on the SP bulletin board and issuance of certification bearing the dry seal of the Office as proof of posting.

08.            Presented for consideration is a copy of Manifestation and Motion to Reset Initial Hearing from the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) relative to the Matter of the Application for Approval of the Emergency Power Supply Agreement between Energy Development Corporation (EDC) and DORELCO. (ERC CASE NO. 2024-008 RC).

09.            Presented for consideration is a copy of a Joint Pre-Trial Brief from the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) relative to the Matter of the Application for Approval of the Emergency Power Supply Agreement between Energy Development Corp. (EDC) and Samar II Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SAMELCO II) (ERC CASE NO. 2024-024 RC).

10.            Presented for consideration is a letter dated April 22, 2024 from the Honorable Governor Carlos Jericho L. Petilla requesting from the August body for the Governor’s authorization and designation as authorized representative to transact with DA-PHILMECH relative to his request for assistance from the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization through the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund-Mechanization Component.

11.            Presented for consideration is a letter dated April 24, 2024 from Tunga Mayor Engr. Reinbert C. Costelo requesting an SP Resolution or Certification stating that there is no objection to the donation of Lot No. 460 located at Brgy. Balire, Tunga, Leyte to the Philippine National Police.

12.            Presented for consideration is Resolution No. 2024-11-191 from the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of the Province of Cagayan, entitled: “RESOLUTION URGING PROVINCES TO REQUEST THEIR RESPECTIVE CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTATIVE/S TO PROPOSE LEGISLATION FOR CONGRESS TO AMEND LAWS ALLOWING FOR LOCALIZED CREATION OF FISHING REGULATORY BOARD, TAILORED TO ADDRESS UNIQUE LOCAL CIRCUMSTANCES”.

13.            Presented for consideration is an email from Dr. Donald M. Ugsang relative to Collaboration with the Provincial Government on drone technology.
