Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 2023-09 of Alangalang, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE KNOWN AS “CHILDREN’S WELFARE CODE OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALANGALANG, LEYTE.” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated July 19, 2023.

Presented for consideration is Ordinance No. 438 of Babatngon, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE ORGANIZING A PRE-MARRIAGE COUNSELING TEAM AND PRESCRIBING RULES AND REGULATIONS ON PRE-MARRIAGE COUNSELING IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BABATNGON, LEYTE.” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated July 26, 2023.

Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 2023-13 of Hilongos, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE ABOLISHING THE VACANT POSITION OF ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT I (BOOKBINDER IV) UNDER THE OFFICE OF THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR IN THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT OF HILONGOS.” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY with CONDITION by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated July 26, 2023.

Presented for consideration is Municipal Ordinance No. 2023-15 of Hilongos, Leyte entitled- “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 2022-15, THEREBY CREATING THE POSITION OF EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT I, SG 14 AT THE OFFICE OF THE MUNICIPAL VICE-MAYOR OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT OF HILONGOS.” Recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY with CONDITION by the Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated July 26, 2023.
15. Presented for consideration is General Fund Supplemental Budget No. 01 FY 2023 of Kananga, Leyte amounting to Php52,129,165.87 under Appropriation Ordinance No. 23L.23-036. Recommended for APPROVAL with CONDITIONS by the Local Finance Committee per review letter dated July 24, 2023, together with 2023 Supplemental Annual Investment Program (AIP) No.1 CY 2023 in the amount of Php92,368,459.00.
16. Presented for consideration is General Fund Supplemental Budget No. 2 FY 2023 of Kananga, Leyte amounting to Php25,272,227.59 under Appropriation Ordinance No. 23L.23-037. Recommended for APPROVAL with CONDITIONS by the Local Finance Committee per review letter dated July 24, 2023.
17. Presented for consideration is General Fund Supplemental Budget No. 1 CY 2023 of San Isidro, Leyte amounting to Php10,292,716.68 under Appropriation Ordinance No. 01-2023. Recommended for APPROVAL with CONDITIONS by the Local Finance Committee per review letter dated July 20, 2023, together with 1st Supplemental Investment Program CY 2023 in the same amount.
18. Presented for consideration is General Fund Supplemental Budget No. 1 CY 2023 of Babatngon, Leyte amounting to Php24,165,493.71 under Appropriation Ordinance No. 426. Recommended for APPROVAL with CONDITIONS by the Local Finance Committee per review letter dated July 20, 2023,
19. Presented for consideration is a request from the National Water Resources Board for posting on the SP bulletin board for a period of fifteen days from receipt of the NOTICE relative to the Water Permit Application filed by Pura Agri-Ventures & Development Corp. located at Sitio Kandampigon I, Salvacion, Ormoc, Leyte. A certification of said posting is also requested.
20. Presented for consideration is a request from the National Water Resources Board for posting on the SP bulletin board for a period of fifteen days from receipt of the NOTICE relative to the Water Permit Application filed by Baybayon ni Agalon located at Sitio Malitbog, Poblacion, Albuera, Leyte. A certification of said posting is also requested.
21. Presented for consideration is a request from the National Water Resources Board for posting on the SP bulletin board for a period of fifteen days from receipt of the NOTICE relative to the Water Permit Application filed by NYB Poultry Farm/Noel Christian C. Basister located at Amahit, Barugo, Leyte. A certification of said posting is also requested.
23. Presented for consideration is Resolution No. 2023-557 from the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of the Province of Benguet, entitled: “STRONGLY SUPPORTING RESOLUTION NO. 2023-139 OF THE SANGGUNIANG PANLALAWIGAN OF THE PROVINCE OF LEYTE, ENTITLED “A RESOLUTION CONDEMNING THE POLITICAL KILLINGS OF PUBLIC OFFICIALS AND CIVILIANS CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE”.
24. Presented for consideration is a Human Rights Advisory from the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) titled “Advisory on the Roles and Functions of Duty-Bearer’s Under the Safe Spaces Act (CHR-VIII-ADV-2023-30F23)” for information and perusal. A written reply/comment or a scan on the QR code for a feedback is also requested.
25. Presented for consideration is a request for Accreditation of HINDANG FARMERS AGRICULTURE COOPERATIVE of Brgy. Ma-asin, Hindang, Leyte with the Provincial Government of Leyte as a non government organization.
26. Presented for consideration is a letter from Ruth Y. Surpia, Provincial Treasurer, Province of Leyte requesting for a resolution designating the following officials as the duly authorized signatory and alternate signatory of the POL-General Fund (NTA) account maintained in Development Bank of the Philippines – Tacloban, to wit:
