Presented for consideration is Ordinance No. 01 Series 2025 of Tolosa, Leyte entitled: “AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A COMMUNITY BASED MENTAL AND NEUROLOGIC HEALTH PROGRAM AND DELIVERY SYSTEM IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TOLOSA AND APPROPRIATING THE NECESSARY FUNDS THEREFOR.” The Provincial Legal Office is of the opinion that subject ordinance is in accordance with its powers under Sec. 447 (a) (1) of the Local Code, however said ordinance does not provide information where and how the funds are to be sourced, hence FURTHER REVIEW of said Ordinance is recommended by the Office.

Presented for consideration is Ordinance No. 2025-01 of Albuera, Leyte entitled: “AN ORDINANCE GRANTING CASH INCENTIVES TO ATHLETES OF ALBUERA, LEYTE AND THEIR COACHES WHO EXCELLED IN INDIVIDUALS, PAIRED OR GROUP SPORTS COMPETITIONS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR.” The Provincial Legal Office per 2nd indorsement dated January 24, 2025 recommended for the declaration of its VALIDITY provided that the funding comes from special existing funds set aside for that purpose.

Recommended for APPROVAL with CONDITIONS by the Local Finance Committee per review letter dated January 20, 2025, together with CY 2025 ANNUAL INVESTMENT PROGRAM (AIP) of the municipality in the amount of Php 595,636,878.40.
35. Presented for consideration is the General Fund Annual Budget FY 2025 of Kananga, Leyte in the amount of Php360,400,884.00 under Appropriation Ordinance No. 23L.24-069. Same is recommended for APPROVAL with CONDITIONS by the Local Finance Committee per review letter dated February 3, 2025; together with Annual Investment Program (AIP) CY 2025 of the municipality in the amount of Php1,747,951,469.33.
